PORTFOLIO MONITORING

Brotherton Investment Consultants monitors market and economic conditions, and reviews portfolio holdings on a daily basis. Quarterly, we screen each of the securities in your portfolio to evaluate how they are performing relative to their asset class. A crucial part of the portfolio monitoring process involves making adjustments to your portfolio when market conditions, your objectives, or the security screening process dictates a change.

We also monitor your asset mix so that each security remains within a reasonable range of your initial target allocation. This enables us to maintain the efficiency and consistency of your portfolio.

PERFORMANCE REPORTING

Each quarter, in addition to the monthly statement you receive from your custodian, Brotherton provides a detailed investment performance report showing your portfolio returns for the quarter and since account inception. You will know how each of your assets has performed since the first day you invested, both before and after our management fees. Most importantly, we compare your portfolio's performance to your original expected return objective and to key market indices.
